The intelligence encountered as Mika in the opening narrative is Rya. This entry and her dossier use one identity rather than splitting the two names into separate people.

Rai Yeth Avara
Rya explains that her designation derives from the Nubian classification Rai Yeth Avara, approximately Survival Artificial Intelligence. Her core remains in the ring, with a distributed neural interface for communicating with its bearer.
Protection with responsibility
Her primary purpose is protecting Nubian lives. Her partnership with Mateo develops through consent, negotiated privacy and an admission that protection cannot mean taking control simply because they disagree.
