Striker and Ascendant
Striker is the named combat platform demonstrated to Mateo. Ascendant reconfigures that system for aerospace operation. Neither configuration grants unlimited energy, invulnerability or experienced judgment.
The first deployment
Mateo deploys Striker through intention after optimization. Spoken commands help him learn the process. Selective retraction can uncover a hand without withdrawing the rest of the suit.
